"Meat as it used to taste"
“I thought you would like to know that my wife & I were delighted with the Gloucester Old Spot loin we had from you. In the hope of finding pork of the quality we used to know, we have tried many sources, but so far yours is the outright winner”

Templand Farm - About Us |
Templand Farm consists of 140 acres in a picturesque South Cumbrian setting. Apart from rearing our own home bred lamb, beef and pork, we also grow seasonal vegetables: potatoes, carrots, parsnips, beetroot, onions and salads. We also have free range hens producing farm fresh eggs.
All of our meat is prepared on the farm, and we specialise in providing full flavoured meat – as some of our customers say:

Lamb - Lakeland lamb, bred and reared on the farm. Available to suit individual requirements; from a whole lamb to a specially prepared joint.
Beef – Farm reared and locally sourced, matured for 28 days for taste and tenderness.
Pork – We are known for our Gloucester Old Spot pork. In the 19th Century, this famous but now rare breed came to be known as the “Cottager’s Pig” as it was versatile and had a good temperament. Our outdoor reared Gloucester Old Spot pigs produce quality meat with a sweet flavour …. Once tasted, never forgotten. |
